The outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created a global challenge of massive proportion. It is affecting all of our families, our communities, our businesses and our way of life. Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation.

Now more than ever, it is critical that we prioritize the safety of our employees and all our stakeholders and unite in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. In following the suggestions of the World Health Organization and various departments of the South African Government, MC Design & Contracting has reviewed and updated operating procedures with a clear objective of mitigating the risk of spreading this virus while doing our best to minimize the impact on our clients, staff and our value proposition. Below are some of the measures we are taking:

  • Development and communication of a COVID-19 risk assessment.
  • Development and implementation of a COVID-19 Safe Operating Procedure, with various supporting documents.
  • COVID-19 Induction & Awareness Training is being provided to all our employees to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infections in the workplace.

Acting within the legal framework of the South African response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to serving our clients during this time. It may not be business as usual, but we will strive to deliver our products and services while navigating the associated challenges to the best of our ability.
